The Outpatient clinics of the Haematology Department at Paphos General Hospital are operated every Monday and Thursday by visiting doctors from Limassol General Hospital.

Haematologists treat patients who suffer from:

Α. Hematologic malignancies
• Acute Leukaemias
• Chronic leukaemias
• Lymphoblastic leukaemia and Lymphomas
• Myeloproliferative neoplasms
• Myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloid insufficiency syndromes
• Rare haematological malignancies (histiocytosis, dendritic sarcomas, etc.)

Β. Benign Hematologic disorders
• Iron deficiency anemia
• Megaloblastic anemia
• Autoimmune and immune thrombocytopenias
• Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura
• Leukopenia syndromes

C. Coagulation disorders
• Acquired and congenital thrombophilia syndromes
• Bleeding diathesis
•Thrombosis in pregnancy

D. Hereditary metabolic syndromes (Gaucher disease, etc.)

Ε. Monitoring of patients after autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant and
• provide scientific counselling to the Blood Bank and
• all the clinics of Limassol and Paphos hospitals
