The Radiology Department of Larnaca General Hospital is equipped with:
Α. Two “KALOS” digital radiography systems, capable of high-resolution X-ray imaging of:
– skull, sinuses, cervical spine, lumbar spine, thoracic spine, sacral spine, pelvis, hips, upper and lower limbs and their respective joints. The instruments can also perform all types of special orthopaedic acquisitions (chest, sternum, abdomen, kidney, ureters, bladder).
Β. Panoramic and cephalometric tomography scanner.
C. A HOLOGIC 3D Digital Mammography System, with the ability to perform digital mammograms, tomosynthesis and stereotactic breast biopsies.
D. HOLOGIC Osteoporosis System, for accurate and highly sensitive bone density measurements – Dual energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA).
E. A General Electric Computed Tomography scanner, capable of performing full body, upper and lower limbs CT scans and CT angiography. F. Two Ultrasound Systems, with the ability to perform full body and limbs scans, elastography of breast/thyroid and vascular Triplex ultrasound scans.
