The Radiology Department of Famagusta General Hospital is equipped with cutting-edge imaging technology and staffed with three specialist radiologists and twelve radiology technologists, working on a shift system to ensure continuous coverage.
The department serves both inpatients and outpatients by providing a range of diagnostic imaging examinations: Routine X-rays, intravenous pyelography, panoramic dental X-rays, digital mammograms and breast tomosynthesis, Bone density measurements (osteoporosis monitoring), barium swallow – oesophagography, Axial tomography (CT scans), ultrasounds and vascular triplex
