SOSIVIO is a treatment unit for addressing addiction to opioids, located within the premises of the Old Limassol Hospital. The unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team, and through the treatment, it provides medication and psychosocial care. The goal of substitution therapy is to reduce the physical, psychological, and social dysfunction associated with addiction and to restore physical, psychological, and social functioning.
