TThe Ophthalmology Department of Larnaca General Hospital provides specialised services covering the full spectrum of ophthalmic conditions, including:
Primary ophthalmic conditions:
- Ocular globe injuries (surgical management)
- Cataract (surgical management)
- Glaucoma (medical and surgical management)
- Pterygium
- Chalazion
- Corneal diseases
- Disorders of the lacrimal system and eyelids

A wide range of other conditions manifesting in the eye, such as:

The Ophthalmology Department is fully equipped and continuously upgraded. There are three (3) fully equipped outpatient clinics for consultants, including slit lamps, Goldmann tonometers, non-contact (air-puff) tonometers and autorefractors.
