Clinic Profile
The Pulmonary Clinic at Paphos General Hospital has been operational since 2008. It is led by its director, two Specialist Physicians, two Nursing Officers, and one Secretary.
The clinic offers a wide range of services related to the specialty of Pulmonology, including:
- Nursing Ward (6 beds) for inpatient care
- Outpatient Clinics
- Consultations for inpatients admitted to other clinics
- Bronchoscopy procedures
- Polysomnography (sleep studies)
- Spirometry tests
- Measurement of lung diffusing capacity
- Allergy skin tests
- Tuberculin skin tests (Mantoux)
- Exhaled carbon monoxide measurement (Smoking cessation clinic)
- Minor interventions such as diagnostic pleural aspirations and biopsies
- Administration of immunoglobulin E antagonists and monoclonal antibodies to patients with severe extrinsic bronchial asthma

The Respiratory Clinic operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing continuous care to patients in need.
