Clinic Profile

The Rheumatology Department of Larnaca General Hospital operates within the outpatient clinics of the new hospital building every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, providing:

Follow-up and management of patients with autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, dermatomyositis, Sjögren’s syndrome, etc.), autoinflammatory diseases (familial Mediterranean fever), and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions (osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, etc.).
Provision of consultation services to inpatient hospital wards.

In the Day Care Unit for Inflammatory Diseases, specialised treatments are administered, including biological agents, immunomodulatory therapies and immunoglobulins, to patients with rheumatic diseases, as well as gastrointestinal and dermatological conditions.
