The Mental Health Services in the Prisons Department are staffed with professionals from various disciplines, addressing the needs of the Central Prisons’ inmates dealing with mental health issues, alcoholism, and the use and abuse of illegal substances.
Additionally, Wing 10 within the Prison Department, provides round-the-clock nursing care and accommodates individuals with active psychopathology, but are willing to comply, who require continuous monitoring and support.
