Cardiology
Dr. Angeliki Mouzarou completed her medical studies at Semmelweis Medical University and specialized in Cardiology at the General Hospital of Attica “KAT”. She was awarded the title of Cardiologist by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2016. She also holds two postgraduate degrees: one in Healthcare Treatment Systems and another in Health Units Administration, and she is currently a doctoral candidate at the university’s Medical School.
Since her third year at Semmelweis University, she has actively participated in conferences and training programs for healthcare professionals, delivering lectures on human physiology, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and emergency management. She also completed a specialized training program in teaching and presentation skills as a member of the Physiology Department’s academic staff.
From 2006 to 2017, Dr. Mouzarou taught Physiology at various private colleges in Greece. Since 2013, she has been a registered instructor and director with the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the Hellenic Society of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (EEKAA), and the Cyprus Resuscitation Council (KYSAN).
In addition, since 2016, she has been a certified instructor with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). She was recently appointed as the National Medical Director of NAEMT’s educational programs in Cyprus.
Dr. Mouzarou also worked for three years as a clinical researcher in the Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital “KAT” in Athens, contributing to the FOURIER and EBINHAUS Phase 3 interventional studies. She has delivered numerous international presentations and has published work in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
