Postgraduate training in hand surgery and pediatric orthopedics. Experienced in spinal surgery.

Work Experience:

I received a medical degree from the University of Perugia, Italy, in 2006 with an undergraduate thesis on “lumbar stenosis”. In 2007-2008 I fulfilled my military service in the Greek Army as a Soldier – Doctor. In 2009-2010 I maintained a private practice in Vartholomio Ilia and during 2010-2016 I specialised in Orthopedics. I received the title of Orthopedics-Traumatology specialty, acquiring specific experience in the field of Hand surgery and Pediatric Orthopedics. After receiving the specialty, I followed further training in these two fields. During the specialist performing numerous out-of-hour shifts and general surgery in the Neurosurgery Hospital Asclepio – Voula, gaining experience in Spinal Surgery. Since 2015 I am a PhD candidate at the School of Medicine, University of Patras with thesis on “cadaveric study of Maceira osteotomy”. To date, I have published 31 articles in international journals and have presented 120 papers in national and international conferences in Greece and I have received two awards from A.O.Spine and Greek Orthopedic Trauma Society. I am a member of the Panhellenic Association of Arthroscopy and the Orthopedic Society of Macedonia and Thrace.
