Prehospital Emergency Medicine
Dr. Dimitris Giannopoulos completed his studies at the Medical School of the University of Patras-Greece in 1995. During 1997-2001 he specialised in General Medicine at Mytilene General Hospital “Vostaneio”. He has a Master’s Degree in “Health Services Administration of the National Health Service” of the Hellenic Open University 2008, as well as the Annual Postgraduate Course of EKAB in Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine 2004.
He is certified in the international programmes ATLS, ALS, PHTLS and he has been a BLS instructor. He has participated in numerous Greek and international medical conferences with announcements, several of which have been awarded. He has also participated in a large number of publications in Greek and international recognised medical journals, as well as a member of the organising committee and speaker at medical conferences.

5/2016 – 9/2020: He moved to A&E Lixouri and Argostoli Gen. Hospital in Kefalonia.
