Georgios Zanganas graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his specialization in Rheumatology at the University Hospitals of Cologne and Frankfurt, where he gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of systemic autoimmune diseases (such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Polymyositis/Dermatomyositis, etc.) and autoinflammatory syndromes (such as Still’s disease and Familial Mediterranean Fever). During his tenure at the University Hospital of Frankfurt, he was an active member of the team responsible for patients with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH/MAS) and participated in interdisciplinary meetings concerning patients with interstitial lung diseases. Since 2021, he has been working at the Rheumatology Department of Limassol General Hospital, where he is also involved in the teaching of medical students from the University of Nicosia (UNIC).
