Dr. Michaela Louka graduated from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace in 2016. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Rethymno (2016–2018) and continued with her residency in Nephrology at the General Hospital of Athens “G. Gennimatas” (2018–2023). From 2020 to 2023, she also attended and completed the postgraduate program “Metabolic Bone Diseases” at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

From January 2024 to August 2025, she worked at the Private Dialysis Unit MEDIFIL, gaining experience in the clinical care of patients with kidney diseases. As of October 2025, she assumes the position of Consultant Nephrologist at Larnaca General Hospital, continuing her contribution to the field of nephrology and to the provision of specialized patient care.
