Dr. Sofia Symeonidou graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and then served as a rural doctor in Samos. She then moved to Sweden where she specialised in Rheumatology at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the specialised Rheumatology Hospital Spenshult. She has worked as a Rheumatologist in clinics in Sweden and Cyprus with experience in patients with Rheumatic Diseases and Osteoporosis. She has international publications in scientific journals and she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Rheumatology Society from 2016 until today.
