He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2003. He acquired the specialty of Urology in Athens, completing most of his education at the Oncology Hospital of Athens “Agios Savvas”, where he focused on surgical treatment and management of urinary tract cancer. At the same time he worked in collaboration with the 2nd University Urology Clinic of Athens and completed his doctoral thesis on the use of photodynamic cystoscopy for bladder cancer. In 2011 he successfully passed the European exams and obtained the FEBU (fellow of the European Board of Urology) certification. He worked and continued his education for 3 years in the United Kingdom, where he specialised in Endourology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. Since 2014 he has been working at Nicosia General Hospital and is also a research associate of the Medical School of the University of Cyprus, participating in the training of medical students in Urology. In addition to publishing his doctoral thesis, he has several publications in scientific journals and a large number of participations in local and International Urology conferences and scientific meetings.
