Dr. Vasiliki Vanessa Stylianou is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Cyprus with the grade “Very Good”. She also holds a second degree in Biological Sciences from the Department of Pure and Applied Sciences of the University of Cyprus, with the grade “Very Good”.
Following specialty entrance examinations, she trained in the specialty of Internal Medicine at the Internal Medicine Clinics of Larnaca General Hospital and Nicosia General Hospital.
She obtained the title of Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine after successfully participating in nationwide examinations conducted under the auspices of the Panhellenic Medical Association. She holds an ALS certification accredited by the Cyprus and European Resuscitation Council and is an instructor for Advanced Life Support (ALS) seminars for the Cyprus Resuscitation Council.
During her specialty training, she trained in the Internal Medicine and Cardiology Clinics, the High Dependency Unit, the Coronary Care Unit, and the Accident & Emergency Department of Larnaca General Hospital; as well as in the Internal Medicine Clinic, Accident & Emergency Department, Special Infectious Diseases Unit, Diabetes Center, Arterial Hypertension Clinic, Dyslipidemia Clinic, and Cardiometabolic Clinic of Nicosia General Hospital, and in the outpatient clinics of the Health Center of Larnaca General Hospital.
Dr. Vasiliki Vanessa Stylianou has conducted research as first author in collaboration with other specialist scientists on topics in pathology and cardiology, which have been published in internationally recognized scientific journals (PubMed, Clinical Case Reports, ClinMed International Library). She has participated in scientific conferences presenting studies in the form of e-posters and oral presentations.
